Luminox watches

Howdy all,

I have two Luminox watches, the first one is the "Navy Seal" type with the all black case, but I bought it before Luminox bought the patent. The face says: "MBM Traser S3000" and it was sold by Trijicon, who makes tritium sights for guns.

My second one is a true Luminox. It's the carbon fiber dive watch.

I love my Luminox's! If you like bright flashlights, you've gotta love the tritium markers of the Luminox watches. I can read my watch at any time day or night. It's gotten to the point that I can't stand wearing any other watches because they are so hard to read.

What do you all think of them? What kind of watches do y'all wear?

My black-faced, extremely well-worn Luminox is my default "ware." I inherited an Omega and two Rolexes from my dad when he passed several years ago, however those three grace the inside of my vault rather than my wrist. The Luminox, like my torches, blades, hammers (the word I now use instead of that G word), automobile is just a tool. I use my tools: I don't wear them. (Except when I go out to a special event. I then dust out the tux or white dinner jacket (yaaawwwnnn...)

and Rolex or Omega. Doesn't mean that I don't appreciate them, "oh contrare." This old, fat warrior is starting to appreciate the finer things.

Incidentally, I will visit the Big Apple (actually in Jersey) this weekend. Guess what tritium "laced" tool I'll be using?

I have the carbon diver navy seal, its awsome, i think when this one dies, Ill buy another just like it. Great overall features and price.
PS whats this G word crap, what you dont like Guns, well dont let your own fears about an object that cant do anything with a human operator impose on my second amendment right. If I had my Gun on one of those planes and was unfortunate enough to be hyjacked, I can tell you right now the plane that i would be on would not be used as a flying bomb. The world is only getting more dangerous and the good people need to be able to defend themselves.

All I got is a groovy old *modified* Sekonda, but it isn't of much value. It does tell the time, though.
Some of the Breitlings are gorgeous .....

Hey, SPECIALIST, do you have strong feelings about gun availability ?

I've not got fears about a sometimes beautiful tool that can't itself do anything without a human operator, it's just that I do often fear the bad people human operators ......

I believe Luminox is offering a product housed in Titanium. This would make a great replacement for my current polymer and rubber timepiece.

I have an appreciation for the utility that tools such as firearms, blades, torches provide. I have a deep and profound appreciation for the talent, creativity, imagination, perseverance, and hard work that goes into bringing to practicable fruition these devices and instruments. By training and experience, I am proficient with them. But, I don't really......like them. They're just.....tools.

The G word is a favorite phrase of a LIBERAL political figure local to the area I frequently visit the liberal politics of whom differ substantially from mine.
