Re: Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King

I am awaiting a BLF GTvn with Lux of around 1.5 Mcd or higher.

As long as the price is not quite as insane as the Lux, count me in.

I have a Rev Victor with Lux of 1.4 Mcd, so would like a flashlight with more lux, even if it is 5 times the size.

This will be fun to see! :)

Why do you need a sphere for lux?

i knew the lux would not be much higher. some were saying it would hit 1.8m with ctf 90. obviously thats not the case.

its not for lux its for lumens. he cant fit the large head in the sphere. so he did a ceiling bounce instead to show the total lumen difference

No. These should be higher.
1.8 Mcd is not off the table yet...

Re: Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King

Are these figures with the new driver you were waiting for?

No. That driver wont be used in this light. At least I dont have plans for it yet. In a light with this many cells I think 8P is the best most useful configuration. You can run any number of cells you wants.

Agree LED is not driven to its max potential but its not easy to drive this LED to its max potential.

What are the cd and Lumens spec on: Spec 7: Oslon Flat Black 6500K ?

And, are you taking members lights for modding at this point or just selling your supplied and modded lights?

Re: Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King

actually, when you think about how awsome that tn42 is, at 900k or so , and 4000 lumens, with the cft-90
that gt is pushing close to twice the lux, with even more lumens
would be incredible if it never went over 1.6 mcp:thumbsup:

Re: Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King

In looking at the Sony VTC5A 2600 mAh cell spec at 30 Amps max continuous discharge, I see on Amazon, a Sony VTC6A showing a 3000 mAh rating with 30 Amp continuous rating. Are these real or fakes?
