Unfortunately I don't have any nice MC-E or P7 lights on hand at this time for comparison. All I have a mini MR-X clone (MagD) that is running a X-bin LuxV & a MagicResistor pushing 1.5A. SST-50 LE is in my one of a kind TB Ti "C" host running a McR-27XR

SST-50 works pretty well with McR-18S, McR-20S, McR-27S, & McR-38. Not so good with a McR-27. McR-27XR gives a slight void but it's probably just the focus that's in my TB C host.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before you would produce one of these with your customary precision Will.

It looks fantastic in your one-of-a-kind C-sized TB host.

What a convenient configuration for these powerful emitters.

Nice!

I wonder how well SST-50 would work with an McR45?

Judging by the nice tight beam it gave with the McR-38 I'm sure it would work even better with a McR-45.

Another job well done, can't wait to try it in my Griffin. 🙂

Nake, it's on it's way to you now. That's an awsome host for this LE, I'd love to see it when they're mated up!

Love the spill! That sucker looks bright😀! Are you using an McR27-S reflector?

No, it's not an McR27-S. I guess you could call it a Ganp special, not sure where he got it. I've seen the same type, but bigger on some DX lights.

Cool, that looks like a very good reflector for making small pocket rocket SST-50 flashlights. Very nice throw and spill. 😱 Manufactures should take notice!
