Hi guys,
This is the second wave of these lights and pretty much covers all but a few stragglers which I will let out in a ripple later on. The ripple of a hand full of lights later offered will have NG400 converters instead of the GD400 converters used in the first and now this second wave. I ran out of the GD converters is what this is about.

To make life simple, below is text from the first wave used again to describe this wave:

I have now assembled about 40 of the LunaSol 27 titanium lights and they are available on first come first serve basis; as determined by e-mail orders I receive which are clear, concise and include the must have information:

In the subject line of the E-mail please state: LunaSol 27
Your CPF name
(if you have one)
Your real name and mailing address
phone number if international shipment
Any exceptions to standard shipping, which is priority mail.
If the shipment is domestic and you want insurance, please so state. (No insurance offered on international shipments)

For my general info on how I process these offerings, please refer to THIS THREAD.

The LunaSol 27:

For more info on the light, please see THIS THREAD (at least the first post in it.:nana:)

The light goes for $515 plus shipping

The LunaSol 27 offered here is a titanium light designed for use with a primary CR123 lithium battery or a rechargeable Li-Ion cell of your choice and with you assuming all risks entailed; the light can handle the voltage range of a Li-Ion cell with no issues.

The ring of Nichias are driven in series at ~ 18 mA
The Cree XR-E is driven at ~425 mA
There is a H3 vial in the piston
Window is sapphire

I have kept this post short but hopefully mentioned the important stuff.

If you have any questions, please ask them here that others may too benefit. I will be hanging around for a little while but then off to the beach for a swim.

I will be processing these orders over the weekend and first shipments will go out on Monday. If orders come in quickly, I will attempt to keep my responses limited to just postage notification. I will try to monitor the wave and post if and when it is extinguished. I won't keep anyone waiting too long for a response from me, one way or the other.

Instead of a bunch of disclaimers, let me simply state that I am not even close to perfection and as a result neither are my designs or builds. If you seek perfection, don't waste your time or money here. These lights should work and give you good utility and behind that I will stand; to the best of my ability.

Don,

Email sent. I hope that I did not cause any confusion, but I attempted to send an email first with my PDA; when I got to my house, I checked my sent items and I did not see it so I sent a second email to you.

Thanks for everything.

Re: LunaSol 27: Second Wave

Almost 2 hours and they are not sold out yet?
Amazing.
Seriously Good luck on the second wave of Lunasol sales Don and congradulations on the successful completion of the first wave.
Can we assume that the total number of Basic Lunasol's is around 100?
A nice round number.
I can't wait for mine to get here.
Thank you Don for making these beauties.

~Thank you very much~

Re: LunaSol 27: Second Wave

This may be a silly question but if I order, can I get a non-H3 piston? Are there any plans for future runs of this light with a non-trit piston?

Your best bet is probably to order one as is and trade the H3 piston for a plain piston from somebody's older Ti PD McGizmo.
