I like everything about this Excalibur Superbeam 5 LED flashlight that I bought at Circuit City except the brightness to weight ratio. It's a very solid and heavy light and I just think I'd rather have more brightness for this much weight. The two stage switch is nice - two LEDs on the first click and all five LEDs on the second click. Reverse clicky w/o momentary option. I bought it for half price and think it's well worth that price.
Anybody know anything about these lights or tried any Luxeon mods on them? I'd be very pleased to carry a light of this heft if it had two level Luxeon in it. Otherwise, it's relegated to the car glove box because of the lithium batteries. It feels very solid and I'd expect it to be very durable.
