Darn, my wife took the digital camera to work. Anyway I will meter them on my new light meter.

Trek 7 620
Trek 1400 880
Trek 1900 1040
LW 4000 790

Now the Trek 1400 and 1900 have a wider beam also, so they light up a larger area. The LW 4000 has a more blue beam to it.

Just received my LW101 meter toady. At what distance did you take the measurements

I took them at 12 inches, but those numbers don't jive with my old light meter in any way. Am I suppose to be further away with the LW101?

Hey Brock,

i don't know if it really makes a difference, but the meter supposedly measures lux, as in metric, one meter.
a long as one is consistent in the setup, then the readings would provide relative brightness from one light to the next.

what i have been trying to figure out is the relationship between lumens, lux, foot-candle, and candlepower. got my degree in geophysics; was never to good with electro-mechanical
