The 2C was easy to build, compared to the 2AA. The beam from the minimag is snow white and throws great. its a recommend mod!

What exactly is the use of adjusing the position of the heat sink? You can accomplish the same thing (adjusting focus) by turning the head. It seems it just adds another unneccesary thermal interface.

The minimag draw with fresh alkalines 500mA and with nihm 650mA.
A good alkalines has about 2700mAh = ~4.5 houres runtime. Its damn bright this small thing :wow:

I had no full raw material with this diameter. The other problem was, i never buildt a hotlip, I dident know which deepness is usable.
