M25C2vnT - Best Single 18650 Thrower

If I sent you the MX25L4 Turbo do you think you can get it tuned to throw at least as far as this light with the XPG LED but with more lumens since it takes 4x 18650s?

I can not. The XPG2 is already pushed the the max already.

Would you consider modding one with a CW XP-L HI? How much throw would that produce vs XM-L2 U3?

Is this light the current throw king because the TM36vn has been discontinued? Do you think it would be better to go with the TK61vn because is has more than one 18650?

If you like small tight hot spot is it. It penetrates very well. If you need a larger hot spot then TK61vn is better. I got 2 more customer emailing me about this but since you are interested first I put them on hold. Let me know 🙂

I'm super sorry! I didn't realize you replied to my previous post! You should take care of your other 2 customers. I'm still trying to make my mind up, and I wouldn't want to keep anyone waiting! 🙂. The hot spot on this light is smaller than the M2Xvn? How far can you shine this light and be able to see clearly? Pardon me for the questions!

Yes smaller than M2Xvn.. How far.... HMMMM

You don't know? haha don't worry about it. Just want to make sure it will be enough
Alex1234 may have done measurements of beam shots using google earth, not sure though. He has the XPG2 PDTc version of this light. The throw is a pencil beam but crazy long!

I have the same light. It is a pencil-beam and the throw is crazy-long but there is also a reasonable spill. It is more that the brightness of the hot spot blinds you if you look at it so you don't notice the spill than there is no spill.

My M25C2vnT will be here tomorrow, it's equipped with a XP-L HI, single mode. This will be the furthest throwing light I've ever owned. How was the beam on it Vinh? Ah, the excitement...

Here is a comparison pic between the Turbo and M25C2vn XPG-2 Fiat Lux

The Turbo is on the left. It throws close to 800 lux in single mode only versions and definitely seems brighter than the M25C2vn. Both are great lights and really comes down to : is the extra throw needed and are you ok with the added size. The answer for me is yes as I have large hands and don't mind bigger lights.

How much extra for the turbo version? I don't see it in the options...
