M3 beam

The beam on my M3 w/ the MN10 looks like a football, obb-loong.
Normal?

I don't use the MN10 or MN15 lamps in my M3 or M3Ts.

Perhaps it will make you feel better to know that the MN10 lamps are better at focusing light into a beam compared to the P90 for example.
The squashed oval shape beam is created because the light that makes the beam oval rather then round is 'extra' light that is focused into the beam rather then wasted and lost.
