M4 Rifle Light

Try either the Sure Fire M500A 125/225 Lumens with a list of $481.00 or the M500B 250/500 lumens with a list of $601.00 It uses a replacement fore end and has the pressure switch built in. Do check around since you can find them much lower than list.

Remember also that there will soon be three options for SureFire WeaponLights:

The M5X0A - like the M3 (MN10 & MN11)
The M5X0B - like the M6 (MN20 & MN21)
The M5X0AB - like the M3T (MN15 & MN16)

"X" is the number representing the type of fore-end you need.

Kits to convert between the A and B are available. As will a kit to convert from A to AB.

The Following is a quote from SureFire's Ken J Good in the SureFire WeaponLights Forum:

The "A" model comes with 2 lamp assemblies, 125 lumens and 225 lumens respectively. I personally use the 125 lumen lamp assembly with the existing reflector for most urban work associated with an M4. More than enough IMHO.
Keep in mind there are a couple of upgrade paths as well.

1. Upgrading the "A" to an "AB" by obtaining a 2 1/2 inch Turbo Head reflector and the 2 associated lamps, MN15/MN16 - 125 and 225 lumens respectively. This "tightens" the beam for longer range activity, but maintains the shorter, lighter feel of the "A" model.

2. Upgrade to the "B" model. Same larger 2 1/2 inch Turbo Head reflector, longer body, and a 6 battery carrier that powers the more robust 250/500 lumen lamps assemblies. This system would be more applicable to longer range perimeter activity. This system attaches directly onto your existing dedicated housing, so you can go back and forth between all possible combinations.

I believe you will really appreciate the M500 dedicated system.

Respectfully,

Ken J. Good
