M90 from PTS or upgrage my M@g 2C 3x123

First thanks to Gunnerboy for the generosity, and guiding me in building my 2C Mag 3x123 1499. I am IMPRESSED to say the least. My first "REAL" torch!!

Now for the issue. I have about $100 and am undecided as to go for the M90 package deal at PTS, or upgrade my M@g 3x123 with AW protected C cells(and charger), AW C cell adapter, and a BiPin adapter??? I need just a little push.

The nice thing with the M90 is that you have the different options of Lumens Factory lamp assemblies that will drop in, and also if you ever want a long running LED you can drop in a Wolf Eyes D36 LED assembly.

This is a hard one. I have both types; a M90, M100 and a Maglite 2x C with 2x C Li-ion cells with a AW soft start-three level switch and a WA1111 bulb. I presume you want to go rechargeable using Li-ion cells.....The Rattlesnake can be built into a system as time goes by, bulbs, tailcaps, extension tubes etc. The lamps for these give a very nice clean beam.

The 2x C Mag is a custom and is just as good to use as the Rattlesnake, its a little brighter on maximum but the beam is never as nice as from the Rattlesnake with D36 lamp.

The only other option would be to get the new M100 and then get the M90 D36 size bezel for it. This way you can have a thrower as well as general light.
