I have often come across owners of Mac's EDC lights that aren't sure (other than what they paid) if their lights are Ti or Aluminum. I realize that the well educated can tell the difference but we're not all that good (includes me). I would really appreciate it if Mac owners could chime in with the weight of these lights without batteries. I'm guessing that the SST50's and XML's are very close in weight but if they differ and you can provide them accordingly, that would be AWESOME too. Greatly appreciated, thanks.

Tri EDC Aluminum
Tri EDC Titanium
SST-50/XML EDC Aluminum
SST-50/XML Titanium

No EDC Aluminum here , but here are the weights of the others (without batteries) :

Tri EDC Aluminum : 52.3 g
Tri EDC Titanium : 72.8 g
SST-50/XML EDC Aluminum :
SST-50/XML Titanium : 81.7 g

Hope that helps :)

AWESOME, just need the Aluminum SST-50/XML and we're good to go. Seeing the difference between the Tri EDC's (20.5g) I'm going to guess 61.2g....? Thanks for the great information..!!

I'm curious, as I have no way of accurately measuring it, how much does the Ti Tri-EDC with battery?

BTW, thanks for the detailed rundown.

Going by the relative mass of Al and Ti...then around 46g? 59g if you take into account that the clip, switch and internals are the same across lights... Or my physics is just incredibly rusty lol!
