Hi everyone!
I'm trying to built a small lightweight drill, and I need to have a costant 3,5 voltage output to drive an electric motor to a costant speed. At maximum torque load it drains 850mA but in normal usage condition it drains 100mA. I intend to use 3v battery.

What do you think about the use of Madmax to step up the battery and drive the motor with costant voltage?

I'll appreciate every contribution!
