Mag C modded with XML module

So I was asked to mod a Streamlight Ultra Stinger... After realizing that it was going to be pretty hard to do it, I conviced my customer to take a Mag C modded with XML module. Here are the results:

Battery tube- 2 Protected CR123

XML beamshot= about 20' from door.

Streamlight- actual results are quite a bit more impressive. The XML produces much more light and of a bluer color. The Streamlight is yellow incandescent. Notice all the extra spill that the XML produces.

Did some testing today and after over 30 minutes, the led was close to 60 degrees c. The outside was just bit cooler indicating it was absorbing the heat. Only issue is that with the CR 123 the light only runs for about 30 minutes at full power. I will upgrade to 25500 c sized liion to increase run time. I did not build a heatsink but the light module contacts the bottom of the maglite body!
