Mag LEDs to modify

I know that several people have indicated that Mag has not kept up with the current technology, but I have seen several comments indicating that their light is a good base for modifications. The recently posted Lowes BF ad shows Mag LED 2D and 3D will be $14.97 and Mag LED 2AA will be $10.97 this Friday morning. Might be worth while to some folks here,

Check this thread for drop-ins/mods.

If you plan on doing a drop-in or a more in-depth mod, get the incan Maglite because it will probably be cheaper.

It was on several black friday web sites (search "black friday 2008") and is also now posted on Lowes web site.
