I'm trying to figure out the MagC thread at the tailcap end for the PocketMate-V Group Buy.
It looks like 1 1/8" & 20TPI. But when I measured with my caliper it's 50 mils off according to the threading standard book.

Can someone confirm this.

Hmm, interesting. Appears as though the major diameter of the threads is 0.030" smaller than the minimum allowance for 1 1/8" -20 UN but 0.024" larger than the max allowance for 1 1/16" - 20 UN and the minor diamter of the inside threads is 0.020" smaller than the min for 1 1/8" and 0.030" larger than the max for 1 1/16".
So Im guessing that either Mag is in some way using a propriatary thread due to design, or just sloppy or worn tooling. If you looking for a tap to recut threads in the end of a C mag body after shortening it then 1 1/8-20 UN will work, there will just be some "slop" between
the new threads and the tailcap threads.
Hope this helped some.

Tim
