I have had a Maglite 6D for many years and it is ~160 lumens. Fenix P1D-CE is 135 lumens on Max. Could you compare not the overall output but only the throw?

In view of throw, these lights are not comparable.

The short LuxV Mag throws much further than my P1D-CE. At this distance (70meters) I haven't make a beamshot of the Fenix because the throw would be too weak for comparison.
But the Fenix is a great light for narrow tasks (up to about 40m IMO), much more useful than your Mag6D.
But in view of throw, I would get another light.
