Maglite conversion to LED\'s worth it?

D size Mag's and getting cheap now, is it worth converting it to LED's? How much do the conversion cost.

You can probably get a good PR conversion from 15-20 bucks depending on how many LEDS or I think a saw a Luxeon Star too for around 35.

I think its a good deal. With LED-PRs and Opalec NewBeam you can get maglite durability and function and LED economy and smooth white light. Some models are even focusable from tight spot to flood. The D-Cell Mags run from many weeks on a LED bulb. Don't know too much about the LS though.
