Magnalight 15 Million Candlepower Handheld Spotlight - 35 Watt HID - 3200 Lumens

New to the forums and did try to search for magnalight but did not find any threads. Has anyone worked with a Magnalight before? Spefically I have been looking at this light.

That lens design is interesting, and the minimal layout is a nice change of pace, except they forgot the battery - you can't just walk around with the light.

You can get the same 3200 lumens with a 40-minute battery (and 12 volt cord) for under $80 here.

but i can buy 12 volt 7 amp batteries for $20 and swap them over in 30 seconds. or i can put a 20 amp gell cell in my rucksack and have even longer runtime...and minimal weight in my hand
