I recently bought another spotlight from a local Harbor Freight store and while looking on their webiste, I noticed this.

I would have picked up a couple, but they were on backorder. Should have some in next Friday. With a 10W bulb and only costing $3.00 I obviously have very low expectations but I was wondering if anyone knew of something similar that might have better performance. Also, anyone have any idea what type of bulb this takes and if it is upgradeable?

Would be good for a mod host, but, keep in mind,, that ive seen mag mount CB radio antennas leave some nice stratches on car roofs so make sure youve got something between that plastic and your car.

Oh, for sure. I have a little bit of the clear material that they make the self sticking and easily removed stickers with...

Plus, it's not like I'm going to be driving around with this thing lit up!

I bought a similar product which looks like this:

Its bulb is a 10-watt, screw-in type one. It looks underdriven so it should last quite sometime.

My unit has had only a few minutes of continuous usage but its reflector has already started to melt. Beam shape looks like crap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Wow... melting after 10 minutes, huh? I'll take this baby back if it does that!
