Magpul FMG9, best flash light ever?

:faint: Worries me that somebody thought it was nessecary to design it.

It would make a great plastic kids toy, but seriously it should not exist as it is. :shakehead:shrug::thumbsdow:wtf::eeksign:

ITZ cool itz called being prepared for the worst case scenario,i would not buy one but itz cool..............

I can see it now.
This will be the product that causes police to stop people for random flashlight checks, "Excuse me sir, do you have a permit for that flashlight?"
The hot accessory for lights will no longer be a drop-in, or LED conversion head, it'll be a sound suppressor. :duh2:

Oh well, I still can't wait to see what the future holds for flashlights, as long as it mostly focuses on brightness, size, and runtime and not destructive capabilities.

It's like the Chevy SSR of flashlights. A bad flashlight and a bad submachine gun all in one? Where do I sign up?

I personally think that is awesome!! Of course, I like my guns almost as much as my flashlights so...:twothumbs

I wonder if he practiced whipping it out that fast?

They probably spend a lot of time just playing around with it.

Anybody think that this is a direct ripoff of the Ares FMG? It even has the same name. Maybe there is a chance that Magpul bought the idea. The only difference is what looks like a cheap incan light. A laser would have been nice.

Not very impressive. He probably practiced a lot and he still put his fingers in front of the muzzle once. I'd rather keep my weapon hidden in the 5 o'clock.

Awesomely, supremely STUPID!

A shoe that turns into a phone is funny,
BUT
Any harmless object that transforms into a gun
will inevitably lead to tragedy.

The dyslexics of the world will accidently
blow away their kids on Halloween.
 AND

"Honey, I lent the neighbor your new flashlight
just now..." B A N G!:poof:
Sure, if it's that neighbor that never returns your stuff,
vengeance is mine, but there is too much
potential for deadly accidents with this
flashlight designed by someone not getting any.

Why is everyone seeing this as a light that turns into a gun? It's more like a gun with a weapon light attached, which has already existed for years. This is just a more compact, "down low" package for the same old thing.

its got a rail, you could probably attach a surefire there...

looks cool though...

As a flashlight, it is a REALLY BAD IDEA.

Take the flashlight off however and it would make a useful EDC backup firearm for the forces. Keeping it in the right hands is a virtually impossible task though.
