Making a paracord hammer loop

I needed to go up a ladder and nail some siding back on my house and I couldn't find my leather hammer loop so I made one out of paracord to hang around my belt.

And this might be just right for a flashlight. I used a specific knot for my loop - it stays open when nothing's inside it - it's more like a circle. And it might be easier to drop your flashlight down in but it's not a slip knot so it won't close around your flashlight (if you need a slip knot, then this isn't for you).

Anyway, it's a little different. If you make stuff out of paracord, you might find this particular knot valuable.
