Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I would get one as well. Be an arc AAA on steroids. God I was around when this guy started selling his mag light drop ins and some thought he was just plain nuts. Guess he proved them wrong. I have bought from Gene maybe a dozen times his products are some of the best and he is just a great guy to deal with.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I'd be in for this...and while I'm dreaming here, make it a reverse clicky, 4500k High CRI Nichia with a flood beam shape.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

We gotta keep this on the front burner folks. I'd dig genes 4000k neutral and hope that it can tailstand.

Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I really like the MDC design and I wish he makes this one (if ever happened) like the AA/16650 versions with tailcap switch and the same kind of mdc clip but smaller. And about the business end I really like the standard mdc design also (a good balance of flood and throw Orange Peel reflector). This would be the perfect lineup of MDC Series in my opinion

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

Malkoff AAA? I'm definitely in.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I'm in.

Malkoff AAA please. With h/l ring.

An upgrated MDC with h/l ring too.

One crenelated bezel ring for the vme head.

...

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

Neutral tint, two level design like MD2 and I'm in. A slightly smaller elzetta Alpha with mode changing in the head would be perfect!

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

My ideal single AAA light is a Surefire Titan Plus with a tail switch. Since Surefire hasn't made it happen, I will be more than happy to send Mr. Malkoff my money for a similar product. As I posted earlier, I'm down for at least two.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

If it's titanium or stainless steel, two or three modes, forward clicky, and a neutral tint then I'd be interested...

Edit: Also like to see it handle a 10440 just for kicks and giggles.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

thankfully, no.

AAA has no advantages over AA, very minor size diff and 1/2 the capacity

AAA and the CR2 should all be dumped in the Atlantic ocean.

AAA to AA is what CR2 is to 123.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

AAA batteries are much slimmer then AA batteries and result in a much slimmer light, which I really appreciate in a keychain, or coin pocket light!

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I find AAA due to its small size has its given place to power either penlight or keychain light. But for ordinary flashlight or headlamp AA or larger format is better because of as well the size and energy capacity.
