2x 18650s I imagine will run at least 12 hours regulated. You probably be able to pull off a 14 hour day with with light constantly on, but do you need to?
If your not using the light for hours on end regularly, I think an M60L would do just fine. And if thats too bright compared to the LL, get a shorter battery tube and use 18500s or smaller.
Do you already have the extenders, and/or can you get the boring done cheap? If not, a fivemega body may be cheaper. (Looks like Lighthound is still out of the Leefs, unless you want to spring for an E2C adapter as well.)Thanks for the replies from everyone. On another note, I was thinking about having my 6P with two one cell extenders bored out to accept the 18650s. Would it be better to find one that is specifically for this or is boring it out acceptable?

And if you're looking for ultimate runtime, check out the Big Leef or TnC C-Flex systems and run your M60LL on two AW "C" cells. Both systems are expensive, but runtime should be ~50% greater than two 18650's.
I applaud you restraint. If I could start over again...The AW C cell systems are intriguing but I'm trying hard (and not doing a very good job of it) to stay with as few different battery systems as possible. I've got a few lights that run the 18650 already so I'd like to stick with it on this one.
OK the M60 on 1 18650 isn't really worth it to me.
That's why I love the M30.
I will post a pic of the 2 18650 body C head right away for you. It's not that big really, I came from a 3 cell Mag background so I think it's still small.
There is someone in CPF BST that will bore out a 6P for about $20. He was buying and selling them bored, but I think he's stopped doing that.Does anybody know where to pick up a ONE 18650 body to run an M60 - didn't see em on lighthound? Is using ONE 18650 even worth it? Currently I am running Lifep04 RCR123s in my malkoffs and now the IMR RCR123s are en route for that task.
