Halo,

Having had many many Malkoff units in use for the past 2 years. Just recently have been playing with few M61W I ordered for some purposes.

They are suppose to be either one or two cells use modules. Let start with this that with the fresh out of the charger batteries ( either 17500, 18500 or 18650 ) the output is noticebly lower on one cell than using two cells. Not but a huge margin but easy noticeble. Continuing at about half of the discharge the output on one cell gets way more dimmer than with two cells ( in this case probably still the same as with fresh batteries). Now when getting close to battery protection kiks in the output is so dimm it is some 20% of the unit powered with two fresh charged batteries. Using two cells I think close to protection kiks in the output is a tiny bit lower than with fresh cells but only small margin.

Now the unit is considered both single and two cells. How is it so as it looks like it drops out of regulation above the voltage of freshly charged battery.

Not mentioning the tint colour that even in the best units is not close to neutrality of M30W and M60W.

I don't think it shokl be axvertised as both onr and two cells unit but rather striclty two cells. M60W works similar with onr cell.

Best Regards
