Malkoff MDC AA using 2.4vdc battery

@Msf

@ledbetter

Please let us know how the Olight 2.4v 14500 worked with your MDC AA 1-2v flashlights...

It's been 2 1/2+ years since you posted about this
No problems with the odd Olight 2.4v 14500. Have used 3 in rotation and enjoy the C charging capability when I don’t want to carry extra charging gear. Experimented in a variety of voltage ranges but mostly used with Malkoff AA lights and an old M30 in a VME head. In that set up the 1.2, 1.5, 2.4, and 3.7v batteries all give a slightly different output.

Thank you for your response!

I agree with the difference in outputs depending on which volt battery is used in my MDC 1AA 1-2v

I have found the 2.4v gives my MDC 1 AA almost identical LL and L levels compared to my MDC 2-3.2v's (2AA or 1 CR123)

I am now trying an XTAR 1.5v 14500, which is proving to be almost perfect (for me) for my MDC 1AA 1-2v
