$ 165.00

 • XHP35 HI 5000K or 6500K
 • BLF GT Driver Ramping UI
 • 5000K Version Specs: 2100 lumen, 500Kcd, 1414m (6500K have higher Specs)
 • Defined hot spot with bright corona
 • Quite a bit more compact compared to TN42vn
 • Similar weight to larger TN42vn = Excellent heat management

Vinh,
Would you reccomend the MK35vn over the MT35vn based on the fact that the XHP35 HI has a tighter hot spot for a few more meters of throw over the XHP70?

(This will be my first VN special)

Yeah I know how it goes...can't decide? Buy both!
Thanks,
Alex

Oh no... you're asking a heavily biased thrower guy...sorry xhp35 HI for me. But 70.2 is excellent too.

Likely not. May be 550Kcd with XHP35 HI 6500K. CFT90 will be brighter with Kcd.

If the difference between the 6500K and 5000K XHP35 HI versions is only about 10%, I might want to change my order to 5000K, if it isn’t too late. I assume the CFT-90 model is at least 3X more expensive?

I don’t think it’s ever been done just yet. But if I was too guess, I would say 5000 lumens and 950kcd

If Vinh could pull that off for $300, it’d be the best light in history. :D

I agree that would be pretty cool! If you get a chance to respond Vinh I'm interested and would love to know:

- Estimated lux and lumens
- Would it be able to retain the other modes? Would you set it up with one of your drivers enabling lower lumens?
- Cost?

Sorry - 1 more "less important" question! :) I'm don't have a light with a CFT-90 yet and was wondering about the efficiency at lower lumens? What I mean is I find the difference between XPL HI's and XHP 35 HI's enough to matter. For example if I've got both lights with a 1/2 run time at 1,000 lumens I find that at 100x less lumens (10 lumens) the XPL light may last 50x longer than it did @ 1,000 lumens but the XHP35 will only last 10X longer. I love the extra power of the XHP but as I often face potential emergency situations where I may need to make my light last a while I do like to have at least 1 light more efficient at the lower lumens.

MK39vn90 20A 4000L, 600Kcd, 67% more Lumen, 20% more Intensity
This was built with a 4P low draw continuous turbo configuration.

A 30A 4S version would yield more performance but you loose lots of usability

I build 2 in the past as custom orders.
My mk35vn just came in. Really nice light. I think I prefer it over the tn42vn. Makes the tn42vn feel big. The mk35vn also feels better to hold. Vinh, what was the numbers with the mk35vn90?
