Got a marathon sar, it ran a little fast but has finally settled down after a few months, man I like this watch. Try one you will like it I am sure! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yeah? Well I've also heard that it's a great watch, although personally I do think that there are better deals around for $600-700.

Yes kind of pricey but mine was only $450, put a metal band on, an invicta forged link band, much cheaper then a swiss band. Looks good and works even better has it gets older.

Canuckle, how do you order from countycomm? I remember they don't do international orders... they didn't even reply to my email inquiry.

Canuckle countrycomm has the 2005 model same watch but a little pricier,SJACKEL sorry I just order on the web, don't know about international orders.

I thought I had seen those watches on westcoastime.com in the past but couldn't find them just now. Several of the guys on pmwf.com have them, maybe they could recommend where to buy one.

I have had them since they first came out in 2001. I have a 2001 on a nylon strap and a 2002 on the SS Marathon band made for it. I really like them both. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that they sit high in your wrist and don't fit well under a long sleeve shirt. This is usually not a problem for me though.
I find the lower profile O&W M1 form factor watches much more wearable day to day.
I would also recommend http://www.broadarrow.net/ for the SAR. I think he sells to overseas customers. Bob is a real A+ guy.
