Marketing of flashlights

Anybody notice the MagLites are in the sporting goods department, in their own section? While other camping lights are on a different isle?

And the "regular" ( cheapie ) lights are in a whole different part of the store? Why is that? Why not put them together?

I think Mags are thought of as "high end" for the general populace. Many people think of them as the "expensive" lights.

Makes me wanna show them a Sure-Fire price list just to watch their eyebrows!
