I'm sure martin knows what they're doing. They're the world leader in lighting & special effects lighting. Almost any concert / award show you see is lit by Martin $5,000 - $10,000 a piece moving lights. Yes moving lights are EXTREMELY expensive. The Martin 2000 moving light uses a 1,200 watt short arc metal halide lamp inside.
