I ordered one today, before heading out to church. Black, Stainless steel bezel.

This looks like a new emitter. I have oodles of XM-L2, a few MT-G2, two dozen XP-L, dozens of XHP70.2, 50.2 and XHP35, 16) SBT90.2, and a bunch of W2 and W2.1 emitters, but not a single, solitary SNF55.2 emitter.

The SNF55.2 looks like a high performance emitter, so I want to see what its beam performance and beam profile look like, in a single emitter reflector, in a reflector diameter that is not too small and not very large, just normal depth and normal diameter.

"Group buy is alive now." It looks like your post was hidden from creation on Tuesday, September 7, and then the post was unhidden today, because I have been keeping an eye on this light, and today is when I first saw the Alive notice. :)

You're welcome.
I just got mine. White wall shows very bright well defined mid size hotspot, along with plenty of bright spill.
I have to wait about seven more hours for the dawn of the new flashlight day to see what it does outside.
I am using a 21700 unprotected flat top 40T cell.
I took an iPhone pic of the emitter: https://i.ibb.co/Nj5J0TR/SFN55-2-MT70mini.jpg

This is the first medium size reflector, single emitter light that I bought since Feb 2015. I have five very large size reflector single emitter lights, and two very small reflector single lights, so I will in a few hours see a nice, powerful, beam performance with a balanced ratio of hotspot size to spill size.

The beam profile and performance are just as nice as I envisioned them to be. The single powerful emitter in a medium size reflector provides a very nice combination of throw, power, hotspot size, and just the right amount of usable spill that’s not too dim or too bright. I showed this flashlight to a friend who is a retired doctor, and he fell in love with it right away; he also ordered one. He was impressed with what it does for its size and price and attractive fit and finish.
