MC3000 Change or Modify Program Name

Anyone know how to use the NAMES function in the GSV view to modify or edit the Program Names?

I would like to add a battery Identification to the Programs such as NiMh-AAA, NiMh-AA and so forth.

I charge AA's and AAA's a lot and I have different parameters (capacity, charge rates etc) for AA's vs AAA's

It would be convenient if the program name could identify which of these I want to work with.

I'm a relatively new / inexperienced user, and I have not tried to use that parameter. Since this is a 'software' matter, what version FW is the unit you're using configured with?

BTW, there are mentions of this in the 'big mc3000 thread' (or one of them), such as:

+ GSV has 1 new item called "Names: {Parameter|Default}". You still cannot name your own programs but at least TOV can show the main program parameters like chemistry, charge and discharge rates

@kreisl could probably enlighten us further on this matter.

BTW, I found this w/ search criteria <mc3000 names>

I only am aware of being able to name a program in the android app.
