Wowee, that`s a lotta light. It wouldn`t be one of the Fa&Mi dive lights that were discussed a while back would it? Or is this some new exciting yet-to-be-released product.

We need more details!

What's suprising, is that one can hold one's hand on the lens, and it won't be cooked... guess I won't be lighting an cigarettes with this thing

I still think it is one of those 1 million CP 12 V rechargeable spot lights. Correct me if I am wrong.

C'mon ya'll. It's Mr Ted Bear's post. He's the one that lives near the McCullogh plant. That's the big yellow tool light he posted on about a month ago.

Ok.... Our fearless leader DavidW is correct... It is the McCulloch X990.

For those wondering, it is the poor man's version of the SureFire Beast/Hellfire. In fact, when disucssing the possibility of doing a comparision with the Beast, PK indicated that it wasn't necessary, as they were essentially the same; they use bacically the same bulb.

I will be shooting a infomercial video for McCulloch over the next few days. Hopefully, in a few weeks, anyone that is interested in this light, may contact McCulloch, and they will send out a copy of the tape.

At the moment, I have the only X990 in the USA. They have actually changed several features of the light, and now expect delivery of inventory by end of April. The first production run of 500 units was shipped to McCulloch Pacific Rim (Australia and Japan).

I will be posting quite a bit more about this light over the next couple of days, so stay tuned

Any further information like photo? lumen level, range? runnung time? and most important price.

And a web link please.

Wow!that light beats the crap out of my
MAKITA14.455W.650LM.EYEFRYER! How much are they going to cost when they come out?

Herky

Southern California...Northridge to be exact, which is about 18 miles east of Moorpark.

Have you seen the movie ET? We're about 2 miles from that park. Now 20 years later, there are about 2200 new homes, that were not there when the movie was shot
