I would not recommend it.
The converter is still stock but i have read some indications of that it might work.

Hi guys, I want to confirm that Ben is indeed brokering I guess would be the term, some of my personal collection of lights. I was planning on another garage sale many years back and there came some sort of disruption from a disgruntled member if I recall correctly regarding the legitimacy of allowing raffles or auctions on CPF. My memory sucks in general and all I can recall is that i was convinced I needed to wait and see how things panned out. As time passed and I moved to Maui and expanded my offerings, the thought of getting into the drawers and hosting another garage sale just became too overwhelming. The anticipated questions and e-mails coupled with the lack of confidence I could provide good answers made it easy to put it off. As luck would have it, Ben got involved with me on a SF deal which opened the door to us joining interests in getting some of my "treasures" out of storage and into the hands of others who were interested. This has allowed me to deal with my plate of contemporary activities as well as get in the water every day. This has worked out for both of us so far and it seems to be a good system to follow through with getting into my McGizmo based protos and oddities as well. Whether I ship everything to Ben or not remains to be decided as we go. But he will be managing this program whether he ships or has me ship on his behalf.

I have confined myself to the McGizmo forum for number of reasons and I don't pretend to be up on the current rules and regulations. There is a thread in the McGizmo forum about garage sales but I am concerned that it is improper to mention this thread in that thread? So I won't. :duck:

Thanks for popping in! Don't be a stranger. No worries Don, Ben asked about posting a pointer over there and I said it shouldn't be a problem. The local McGizmites might not know this sale is going on or may expect it to be there vs. the regular BST so I think it is a helpful link.
