McGizmo & Strider

Policescannerman have to blame or rather thank you for my latest purchase. Saw your pictures of Strider PT CC and went on a mission to find one not easy. Today was able to pick one up at NYC knife show. There was only one at the entire show. Spearpoint with black scales stone washed finish. Awesome awesome EDC!!! Was so stoked found one. My first Strider and my first EDC knife which I carry with Aeon but could just as easy be in my pocket while I am walking around with my Makai. Anyway cheers to a great thread.

Walter Brend design manufactured by Cutters Knife & Tool, titanium frame liner lock and 154CM blade ... & a Ti PD-S 🙂

Just a little longer than a big Sebbie & 1mm thicker but it feels no bigger in the pocket.

A new little knife I got from Kenn Jordan. Really great cutting tool for its 1.5 inch blade.

^^^ It doesn't get any better than that. One of the sexiest lights ever machined from a hunk of Ti with arguably one of the coolest blades ever, further enhanced with carbon hotness. That is a dream EDC combo!

Start watching Les George's web site. If he opens the list back up for a VECP get on it. Also be on the look out for one of his ESR's.

I also know that the Hinderer / Zero Tolerance ZT0550 has been getting some good reviews.

The tick titanium frame looks are popular right now. If you start looking there is really alot out there.

You called it man, I ended up with a ZT0551. Couple days with it and I'm quite pleased.

Here's a pic for you PSM. 😉

Being the foreground, the ZT looks even more huge than it already is, haha.

My Striders and McGizmo's. The knives are carried daily and the 3V warm Haiku has been in my pocket since I received it. The 6V is my outside/trouble call light. It's modified with a R4 5C XP-G, beautiful neutral tint!

What are you slicing with these days, Storm?

Here, the ZT doesn't look quite so crazy big in this shot.

Actually it looks bigger in that shot, to my eyes. :duh2:

I use a Kershaw Chive. Been using it for years, never had need for anything bigger except when cooking. Can't remember the last time I had to dig out my Gerber Legend 800 to use the 3" blade it has.
