Would love to hear if it's "easy"... I'm holding back until I hear something definite.

The SF twistie guts which are replaced by the AW B switch do not work in this tail cap.

Is the tail end insert / contact board thing keyed so you can't possibly accidentally install it the wrong way and short circuit the batteries? (I see the writing on it to label the battery orientation, but can't tell if it only fits one way from the pic.) Could it be? (Maybe one lobe larger or with a square corner or something?) Just concerned about short circuiting batteries...

There's a well-hidden registration mark on the left-hand lobe in this picture, but as you can see, I marked mine with prominent red registrations.

Donn,

Great pic!!!!! Any chance you could take one showing the inside of the tailcap where the AW switch sits?

Only 10 Megalennniums left!!! Anyone on the fence better jump on this quick. No telling if and when there will be another run.

I would need one of FM's MN socket's to use any bulb other than the factory M6 bulb assemblies, correct?

I don't want to miss out on one of these but I also don't want to not be able to get one of the MN sockets.

It looks like two of the bores are a little closer together so that the overall shape is not symmetical. So the tail insert cannot be inserted incorrectly easily.

Both end of contact ends are marked P as Positive and N as Negative.
Head side contact board is pressed in and won't fall off.
Tail side contact board is ONE WAY in and can't go in wrong way. Therefore no chance of short circuit unless you ignore battery orientation marks and install batteries wrong way.
