CPF is more than a forum. You fellas embody the Christmas spirit all year round. CPFers watch out for each other and generally work to improve the average member's quality of life.

It suddenly hit me hard when the fourth Advent candle was lit at church three days ago. May all be in the Spirit!

Christmas night I heard a female voice hollering. The hounds got rousted and began to ring their alarms.
Last time I heard a female voice hollering it was my 87 year old next door neighbor stuck in her shed. It's the pre-made type with a hasp that catches to lock the door and the wind had blown it shut while she was inside.

It turned out last night that the voice was a kid yelling out "ready or not here I come". Some kids on the next street were playing flashlight tag. I stood out on my deck and listened for a bit since the weather was nice for this time of year. It appeared somebody had a pretty impressive flashlight as between houses I could see an area on the next street over things light up like car lights going by.

There's no other forum that I know of where people mingle peacefully and discuss a hobby most consider weird. A bunch of weirdo's we are, yes. But we stick together and become the light in darkness when everybody else's celphone gives out. CPF is a place many check frequently throughout the day even if they don't chime in. My favorites are that person who joined 13 years ago and has a post count of 5 after popping in to post about a Solar Force light they like. I want to respond "welcome aboard" then notice the join date and instead say "happy 13th anniverssary, see ya in ten"……

God, we played flashlight tag 40 yeard ago with plastic 2D Rayovac and Everady lights with half dead batteries. Such wonderful times... 😁🎅

I look into CPF at least three times a day just to see what’s up. You guys are so knowledgeable that I’m humbled before you! I only know what brands, tints and UI’s that I like and nothing about amps, voltage, boards etc....but I’ll tell you this, I have never been steered wrong here during group buys, pass-arounds, recommendations and reviews. Thanks to all.
Also, I’d like to thank the moderators, administrators, maintainers and creators of CPF for doing what they do to keep this great ship afloat.
