Available as a "kit" (without Solitaire host) or complete as a working "turn key" unit. The kit comes with the module, spacer and optic. Installation is simple. Epoxying the module to the Solitaire's switch mechanism is recommended so the leads of the module are not stressed and broken off. Instruction here.
The light is a bit focusable too. The only thing that "bugged" me a bit is that when fully screwed in in the off position, a gap is left between the body and the head. It can't really be avoided because of the mod's components which are of excellent design. Not at anytime does the luxeon touch the optic or anything else when switching the light OFF. When twisting to turn OFF the spacer that holds the optic in the head pushes down on the outter rim of the module to turn it off. Something well thought of.
I know alot of people want to know the answer to this so, here. No, the optic is not glass so, yes, it probably will get scratched under normal everyday use.
Starting from left to right, taken at 1ft.
Nano-Mate w/Turbo Head R2H, Micro-Lux (Bin Unknown), Micro Illuminator w/Custom Reflector R3J, Arc AAA Premium
