I'm working on making a mag mod that is about 1D size. I'm not sure what battery configuration yet. It would work to use a micropuck to bump up the voltage for an EverLED wouldn't it? Can anyone tell me what the output of the micropuck is on just 1 battery?

the micro puck will only draw about 100 mA, based on my measurement. I suggest you use everled with 3 to D battery adapter. It is just not worth it to have a light that big with only small output like 3 white leds.

Damn...I was thinking about 4 NiMh AA wired for 2.4 volts. That should work great with the micropuck...and then the micropuck>everled combo should make the EverLED it's brightest right?

Micropuck everled combo? I don't really understand that statement. If you want to use everled, why you need micropuck? just series all your niMh ad then you will get the brightest out of your everled.

Hmmm...I don't know why I didn't think of all the batteries in series. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif I was thinking of using the micropuck to boost the voltage to give the everled the most brightness. I know the everled works on 1D, but the light that comes out is worse than an incandescent bulb! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
