Midway usa, surefire edc1 dft

Those Birthday specials can be a nice savings.
Though to be honest, usually just a gimmick.
Speaking from experience.
Still most of my experiences ordering from Midway have been positive.

...and your theory regarding the likely reason behind the $137 price quoted in the OP is....?

For reference, this was my theory:
Don't know, but would be shocked if they actually send them out to those that ordered them. I'm sure SF wouldn't be pleased - but happy for those that got the killer deal. :) - guess I'll need to look out at midway moving forward since they give stuff out for free ?

About 4 people at my job as well as myself ordered one. I got shipping confirmation and it should be here Friday. Midway usa is very legit. I have ordered from them tons of times over the years. Sometimes things are just priced stupid good and that's why I thought it was worth a post.

It's an awesome light. I got the 2 first also, thinking that would be enough. Liked it so much I got the 1 and like it just as much, glad I got it.
That's an absolute bargain, hope you get it soon.
Funny thing is I got a crazy deal on the edc2-dft from euro optic something like 150 bucks. I think they just had them priced wrong.

Congrats, hope SF doesn't catch wind of it.

Or else what they are going to come snatch it off my porch? I really don't understand?

Midway will get dropped as an AD by surefire, that's what will happen... not sure where or why you'd think somebody was going to come snatch it from you, very immature take on it. Let's try and be adults here.

Has anyone contacted Midway to ask when will be next big SF sale drop?
...same time enquiry to what was reason for the unbelievable sale price, pre-planned or a screw-up?

@Jshtlbt where's your porch 🦝

If you read earlier in this, I explained how this happens (regularly) at Midway.

When they have stock that doesn't move, they BLOW IT OUT. Overstock costs money. That's shelf space that COULD be a product that's moving.

It's not a listed sale, and it's not a mistake. Their pricing is automated. Once their inventory returns to a level that better matches the demand, the price goes up automatically. It's essentially a clearance price for only a FEW of the items.

I've been shopping at Midway since they were still an actual catalog (like Brownells). This isn't a big deal, rare, etc.

You guys acting like this is some huge conspiracy or some freak event is pretty hilarious. I've been snagging things at maybe 40% of their total cost from Midway for such a long time. It's not usually on stuff you REALLY want, so the folks that got this should count their blessings.

Midway is far from the only site that does this. This is pretty common in e-commerce, especially cause Midway has an automated system.
