Millenium 3 Is Brighter Than The Expedition?

Hmm, looks like the way ugly Mil3 is brighter than the expedition ... Sorry, I forgot where in the forums I found this..

Ok, Why is the Mil. 3 (with it's 3 LEDs) brighter than the Expedition 7 (with it's 7 LEDs)??

Yes it looks brighter, but all the light is inn a smaller area overall. The Trek7 has a larger area of light and a MUCH smoother beam. Also the mil light is using 3 D cells and the expedition is using 3 C cells so the Mil light is overdriving the LED's even more than the expedition.
