Looking to try out alternative lenses, such as UCL, BOROFLOAT and maybe SCHOTT. What is the diameter and thickness of the standard Millennium & KT TurboHead lens? Any suggestions, recommendations as to Millennium & KT TurboHead alternatives?

FLL used to do custom cuts in small enough quantities that it's worth asking them.
They were cool enough to do a couple odd size/thickness cuts of double coated ucl for my EL blasters a while back...

Millenium and KT Turbohead Lens are Pyrex, essentially the same as Borofloat. These lens are thick and tough, easily handleing heat and abuse.

FLL has not yet gotten back to me, simply want to beamshot some light transmission comparisons...

sorry to thread jack, but will i have any problems fitting a pyrex lens into my millenium m6 since mine still uses the thin lexan lens? (serial #A00083)

I don't think that you would want to change to a pyrex lens. I have had a cracked pyrex before on my M6, I think with a lexan that would be avoided. Also, do you have the retaining ring on the bezel or is the lens pressed in?

(Wow, my post 100!!!)

Does your SF TurboHead have a glass lens? Plastic?

it appears to be pressed in as i dont have a retaining ring and i was contemplating changing it because there are some minor scratches, plus more output.
