Mini-Mag bulb socket

in the mini-mag (2aa) there is a black plastic socket where the bulb pops in. Does anyone know how i can remove this and put it in again? http://www.maglite.com/product_anatomy.asp?psc=2AACELL
Its that socket under No. 7.

I have to check the contact between the battery an this black socket.

Scroll down midway on the page and you will see that it requires a tool that Mag sells. Not sure how much the tools costs, but it is probably under US$20.

it just pulls apart...

when you want to put it back together put the bottom piece in the tube then put the batteries...either hold the batteries in or put the bottom cap on...th ebatteries will hold the piece in place...then just press the top piece down onto it...

be carefull, there are small (very small) metal pieces in between the plastic sandwich that can easily pop out...

artar, also I just found on that same website they sell the tool for just under $4 USD.

thank you all a lot.
my intention is to clean the small round metalic contact inside the socket where the first bulb touch. I will try it first with something like contact-spray.
