I got some Silver Twill G10 in :twothumbs You can see it next to the Natural G10 and CF:

I'am Pretty sure i can Dye it like the regular G10 and Carbon Fiber.
So ya'll can have it tinted a light color with that neato silver twill background
Anyone can change thier cover options to Silver Twill if you want too.
I will get more of it if necessary. But i think i have enough for 4 lights
at the moment. Like i mentioned before, You can mix-n-match covers
to diff styles and dyed options if ya want 😎 Silver Twill on top CF on back :naughty:

Ohh, And the buildup timeframe seems to be right on track (knock on wood)
I should have the bodies in hand the end of next week. Then they get sent
to my machinist for holes to be made. Theeeeeeen, I get them back to build.
I allready have 95% of all the internal parts.. And All of the cover material
at this point (unless most of you opt for Silver Twill).

Oooo...Silver Twill G-10? How nice. Glad to see you were able to pick some up. I'm definitely going to be changing my options a little bit with this update. I'll send you a PM or give you a ring and we can discuss.

The waterjet people kindly sent me a prototype to play with 😱 :thumbsup:
And i covered just one side of the shell with the Silver Twill G10
to show you all what to expect. This proto is about 1/4in too long.
The final dimensions will be the same width and lenghtwise, But it
will end up being .020in/0.5mm thicker due to the thicker metal that
the waterjet people had. So the light ends up being 0.350in/9mm thick.
As for the Silver Twill... It will add about 0.040in/1mm more than the
natural/colered G10 or Carbon Fiber options. You won't really notice
it unless you compare two different lights side-by-side 😗

The Titanium Shells were sent to me yesterday, And should come in today :twothumbs
Then... After a thorough inspection,
I send them to the machinist for all the holes to be milled out

And Yes, There are aluminum ones in there.... But they are for me 🙂 (Unless you REALLY want one)
And those little Ti blanks are going to end up as Tritium Keychain Thingies 🙂

Okay folks.. The taglight milled proto body is being shipped to me today :twothumbs
And if all is okay (should not be a problem) with the measurements...
Then i will go ahead with all the bodies to be machined (30 of them)

But i Just found out ONE thing with the Inova Light that i didnt see when i
read the original cardboard-packed light's directions.. The light will shut off
after 4 minutes on High :thinking: This will apply to all those that ordered
the "Multi Level" lights :mecry: I Apologize for this. But, The Low mode and
2hz Strobe dont turn off. I tried searching around on how to program the light
to NOT turn off after 4min on high, But No luck 🤢 If anyone knows how to
turn this feature off, Please let me know. And if anyone wants a refund for
the light, Please let me know. I may also Try to track down the Photon freedom
Driver if this causes a big problem with you all

Okay, I jus tracked down the Photon X-Light for its driver 🙂

Specs:
(Copied from the website)
Full range brightness control
4 Safety beacons: Slow, Medium, Fast, SOS
Signal Morse Code mode
Brightness ramping up or down
Auto Shutoff programmable on or off for 3mins (then it dims)
Will add more stuff when i get the instructions

And it doesnt shut off on its own!!!

If anyone has a problem with me swapping out thier 3-Mode
driver with this one, Please let me know :thumbsup: Otherwise, I will
order these to replace the 3-mode....
