Mini-triple Cree
I've recently finished a mini triple Cree helmet light.
It was built out of 1"x2" tubing much like the Il2mb posts last year.
I used three 6 degree Polymer Optics lenses mounted on aluminum angle and drive them with a bFlex @1000ma. Batteries are Ansmann AA 2850 soldered into a small pack and run @14.4v.
The heatsink may be overkill but the light did get hot quickly @1000ma.
The Polymer Optics don't have the same punch down range as the Ledil real spots my other helmet light uses but the mini gives more light.
I am considering putting in some 6x25 polymer optics and making it into a handle bar light
I need to post some beam shots...

That driver is that? Loks like one of the DXbuck/boost efforts. Didnt realise they ran to that kind of voltage.

It is a bFlex driver.
They handle up to 20v for last years model, this years is 25v.

Switch is from DIGIKEY, momentary and then a red switch cover.
513pb-nd is # for black switch cover, check the same page for red
I looked for switch PN- no good. It's a Juddco switch
