* i spent an hour plus, drilling a wider hole into a mag stock reflector, and shortening it-as it was WAY more "shiny" or surface perfect than the LED replacement reflector, but realised that the LED reflector is better as the modified stock reflector left a less "smooth" sweetspot even when fiddled with up and down.
* the mag stock lense was in MUCH better condition than the tailcap lense accessory
* to make the lights completely "idiot" proof, i krazy glued the heads to the tread at the best sweetspot and throw, so the tailcap is the only means of turning it on and off. here is the reasoning : first instinct is to twist, throwing off the beauty of the beam, as well as it may fall off.. we're talking both sexes here, so it must not fail in her hands ! aside from that, the bezel would allow lense, reflector, and module replacements ( if ever )
i plan to use Ni-Mh, so the beams you see are alkalines.
