Minimag Tap Sizes

Hi wanting to try shortening a few minimags and solitaires. Could anyone tell me the tap sizes for the mini mag threads? Other thing is can I cut through a minimag with a pipe cutter?

For the tail:

5/8-28, same as a Kroll Switch

Dunno about the solitaire.

Wasnt really what I hoped for I was wanting someone to say a 16mm or something.

Unfortunately (for you) it's a US-based product and will therefore use imperial sizes for threads, etc. I'm sure you could source a 5/8-28 tap from a US supplier. I think most people just cut them on a lathe.

Thanks gallonoffuel, I hate the UK . Think I might just be better looking for a CPFM to cut me a couple down.
