MM+ WO Lux3T+firefly question

Ive put the Lux3 in but the battery wont touch the sandwich. The existing sandwich has a blob of lead which sticks out slightly. Is it safe to add a blob to the lux3 sandwich? It wont heat the whole sandwich up, damaging the LED?

Hi Shannow...

I just did that procedure with one of my BB750 Lux3 sandwich`s so that I could use it in a Firefly, and it worked out fine.

I recommend you use small diameter solder( electrical not plumbers). It's easy.
