I decided that I wanted to try and somehow get the 2 aa niteize mod into my 2d mag. The size of the niteize is perfect for attatching to the part that holds the bulb, so I went and broke the bulb and planned on using it's pins for the contact. It wouldn't work. I know that the niteize works. I know there's power going to the pins. What gives?

Have you tried switching the leads around? You might have the polarity reversed.
I got it to work, I have no idea why it wouldn't before. Being that I'm kinda poor and don't have much to work with, I had to bend the leads, screw in the pr, put the niteize on top and twist it until it turned on and then duct tape the niteize to the part that screws in. I also have press and seal on the lens, so the output is very smooth and wide, nothing too special though.
