Has anybody modded a Blackburn Voyager 4.0 with a Seoul or the like? Except the certainly voiding the warranty, I think this would be a great host. Run off 4 nimh AA batts, high/low/flash and a decent handlebar mount.

Haven't cracked mine open yet (picked it up cheap for a go-to-the-bar-and-ride-home light), but if the led is replacable I might have to throw the one P4 I have left in it. Any thoughts? :poke:

I was having the same thoughts as you. I popped the 4 little screws and separated the housing. The board is just held in place with guides and spring pressure. To get at the emitter and lense, it looks like there are 4 small tabs that hold everything together. I couldn't come up with the right combo with the tools I had to release it, so I gave up for the time being. If you get it open, let me know your trick.
